Jules Gobeil's biography
He buys his first camera while he is still a student: a 35 mm visor camera,
completely manual and, above all, not expensive. "I still have some of
those pictures, and it is surprising how good they are", says Mr Gobeil.
At the death of his father, he inherits his camera, a Nikkormat, and gets a few
lenses and accessories to improve his possibilities. Today, he uses
professional digital
equipment that gives him all the needed flexibility to capture what he sees,
no matter what the conditions are. His data-processing knowledge and state
of the art equipment allow him to process, optimize and print his photographs by
himself. |

Most of all, Mr Gobeil likes to immortalize nature. He loves to photograph
landscapes and
wild animals, especially birds. In the woods or in the countryside, he is
away from the stress of the city, enjoys the beauty of nature and hunts for
pictures patiently, summer and winter.
After studies in business administration at Laval University, Mr Gobeil has
worked several years in sales and sales management for major corporations.
In 1990, he starts his own business, Jules Gobeil & Associés, to offer
consulting and training services in sales, time and priority management as well
as
business management. He is married and the father of three adult children.
He lives in Quebec City, Canada.
