NEW PHOTOGRAPHS

This section contains photos taken since the last revision of the Web site.

It begins with 4 photos of a Great Egret, that visited us at Provancher Marsh in Neuville.  This beautiful bird is quite rare in our area.

At the same place, I saw in 2 occasions a Pied-billed Grebe mother showing its offspring how to swallow a Bullfrog.  The first time, nobody succeeded but, the next time, it is a one of the 2 youth that swallowed the frog which was bigger than its head.  These are not great pictures, but they are quite interesting. I also photographed 3 nice female Pintails.

At Cap Tourmente, near Quebec City, a young Deer and an adult Black Bear gently let me take their picture from a close distance.  I decided that the bear was close enough... and retreated politely.
